Registration

The purchaser must hold a valid drivers license and must be older than 18 years of age. Before purchase, a refundable deposit of 100,000yen or 10% of the foreseeable FOB price of the vehicle you desire to purchase if it is greater than 100,000yen, must be paid. This deposit will not be added to the FOB value of the vehicle purchased, but will remain as a deposit until the purchaser decides to purchase no more, where it will either be included in the final value of the FOB of the final vehicle purchased or shall be returned to the purchaser less bank fee costs of 5000yen.

Agents Fee

JC Auc offers the following :

Plan A

A flat commission fee of 80,000yen excluding cars purchased from outside the Honshu auctions for vehicles under 1 million yen.
Vehicles over 1 million yen and under 2 million, 80,000yen plus 1% of the value of the vehicle.
Vehicles over 2 million yen and under 3 million, 80,000yen plus 2% of the value of the vehicle.
Vehicles over 3 million yen, 80,000yen plus 5% of the value of the vehicle.
For vehicles purchased outside of Honshu, transportation costs apply.

Plan B

A flat commission fee of 70,000yen plus the cost of internal transport to the closest relevant port for vehicles under 1 million yen.
Vehicles over 1 million yen and under 2 million, 70,000yen plus the cost of transport and 1% of the value of the vehicle.
Vehicles over 2 million yen and under 3 million, 70,000yen plus the cost of transport and 2% of the value of the vehicle.
Vehicles over 3 million yen, 70,000yen plus the cost of transport and 5% of the value of the vehicle.

Log in name and password

The purchaser will be given a log in name and password. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to keep this secret. Any purchase by a third party using this log in and password is the responsibility of the purchaser.

Payment

When You have received notification that you have successfully purchased a vehicle through JCauc, the full F.O.B amount shall be paid in cleared funds to JCauc within 7 days from the purchase date.
All payments must be made my Telegraphic Transfer (T.T).
You will be notified by email when payments are due.

Non-payment

If full payment is not made within 7 days from the date of purchase, JCauc will refuse to export the vehicle from Japan to your country. JCauc will re-auction the vehicle in Japan and use the deposit paid towards the costs of re-auction. Any money remaining from the sale of the vehicle shall be refunded to You. In the event that the deposit does not cover the costs of re-auction, then JCauc may take legal action against you to recover outstanding costs resulting from non-payment.

Acceptance of your bid

At JCauc, we will accept your bid on the condition that the auction sheet does not state anything about the vehicle mechanically or structurally that would make it unacceptable quality. If we have doubts about the quality of the vehicle, we will give you the translation of the auction sheet and wait for your response to it before bidding.
